
Stuffed peppers with sour cream

In winter, peppers are so expensive that you can't really indulge in this delicacy very often, but in summer you can go all out and enjoy various pepper dishes to your heart's content. Although there are countless ways to prepare them, the most popular and beloved version remains the classic stuffed peppers with sour cream. Here I offer you a basic set of ingredients, but of course you can vary it a bit—add, for example, carrots and onions, or tomato paste, it's a matter of taste. In any case, this simple recipe for stuffed peppers with sour cream results in such a delicious dish that you'll want to eat it again and again.

Cut off the stem attachment point from the peppers, remove the seeds, and rinse the peppers.

Place the minced meat in a bowl, add cooked rice, salt, and ground pepper.

Mix everything thoroughly.

Then carefully stuff each pepper with the prepared filling.

And place them tightly together in a pot.

Pour water (or broth) over the peppers so that it covers the filling, add sour cream and salt. Place the pot over low heat and simmer the peppers for about 40–50 minutes.
