
Stuffed peppers with millet
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Serve these stuffed peppers on their own, accompanied simply with a slice of bread, fresh vegetables, greens, or pickles. If desired, the stuffed peppers can be frozen, so you'll always have a homemade semi-finished product on hand for any occasion. Serve hot.

Prepare the ingredients.

Clean the peppers, wash them well, and dry.

Cut the chicken fillet into small pieces and transfer to the blender container. Also add several cloves of peeled garlic to the container.

Cook the millet in advance until done; for half a cup of millet, use one cup of water. Mix the cooked millet with the ground meat, add half of the finely chopped onion, salt, and pepper. Mix everything together.

In a skillet, heat the oil, add the onion cut into cubes and the carrot grated on a medium grater. Fry the vegetables for a few minutes, then add the paste and water, mix well.

Fill the peppers with a mixture of minced meat and millet.

Pour the tomato sauce into a saucepan, add the peppers, garlic, bay leaf, salt, sugar, and pepper. Simmer the peppers for 40–45 minutes over low heat.
