
Stuffed squid in egg
Description
The recipe won't take much time. An interesting and slightly unusual dish, suitable both for everyday and festive tables. Inside the squid is a juicy filling, topped with a delicate egg coating. The filling can vary—you can use sautéed fish with onions, for example. Choose any fish you prefer. Tasty and healthy. Serve hot.

Prepare all the ingredients.

For the filling, cut the onion into cubes and chop the fish fillet.

Fry the fish with the onion in a pan until cooked, then let the filling cool slightly.

Add one egg, salt and pepper to taste.

Add mayonnaise and mix well.

Place the squid into boiling water for a few seconds, then drain the water and immediately pour ice water over the squid.

Clean the squid bodies, remove the innards and the cartilage. Rinse and pat dry.

Loosely fill with the prepared stuffing.

Heat the skillet, grease it with oil, and pour in one egg beaten with salt. Immediately place the squid body in the center.

Once the egg sets, flip the squid with a spatula so the egg side is facing up, and transfer it to a greased baking dish. Repeat the same with the second squid.
