Stuffed bread in the oven
Description
Stuffed bread is somewhat similar to a closed pizza—it has the same crispy crust and juicy filling, so you won't be able to slice it neatly or serve it in portions. To prepare individual servings, choose small loaves of bread and fill them with your selected ingredients.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the listed ingredients. Buy any type of bread, preferably a brick-shaped loaf so that it is stable.
- 2
Step 2

Cut off the top of the bread and remove the inner crumb — you can use it as you wish, it won't be needed for the recipe. Coat the inside of the bread with mayonnaise of any fat content.
- 3
Step 3

Grate the hard and soft cheese on a fine grater. You can use suluguni, brinza, feta, etc. Place half of the mixture inside the bread and along the edges of the product.
- 4
Step 4

Cut the milk sausage into cubes and sprinkle it into the center of the bread, spreading evenly. If desired, the milk sausage can be replaced with smoked sausage.
- 5
Step 5

Spread the sausage layer with ketchup: mild, garlic, spicy, etc. Rinse the green onion stalks, chop finely, and sprinkle on top.
- 6
Step 6

Fill the bread to the top with grated cheese mixture so that it melts during baking and seals the cut top of the dish.
- 7
Step 7

Cover the bread with the cut top, place it in a baking dish or on a baking sheet. Preheat the oven to 180-200 degrees and bake the dish for about 15-20 minutes, until the cheese melts.
- 8
Step 8

Place the finished dish on a plate and serve, slicing it at the table. Keep in mind that the bread will dry out slightly, making it harder to cut, but the filling will be incredibly juicy and the cheese will be wonderfully stretchy.
