
Stuffed Mushrooms with Cheese

The appetizer is quick and easy to make. An unusual appetizer for your festive table. The little mushrooms look very beautiful on the table. Thanks to the cheese, the mushrooms have an unusual and appetizing flavor.

Step 1

1. Wash the mushrooms and separate the caps from the stems. Set aside 150–200 g of mushrooms for the base. Salt them and mix. Place in a separate bowl.

2. Grease a baking sheet with oil and arrange the mushroom caps on it. Pour a little hot water into the bottom of the pan. Preheat the oven to 200°C and bake the mushrooms for 10 minutes.

3. Cut the remaining mushrooms and mushroom stems into small pieces. Dice the onion into small cubes. Put the mushrooms in a frying pan and, stirring, cook over low heat until all the liquid has evaporated. Now add a little oil and the chopped onion, and sauté until done.

4. Separately, grate the cheese on a fine grater. Mix the fried mushrooms, mayonnaise, and half of the cheese. Add a couple of tablespoons of wine and seasonings to taste.

5. Remove the mushroom caps from the oven and fill them with the prepared filling. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top. Return the filled caps to the oven and bake until the cheese melts and forms a golden-brown crust.
