
Stuffed sausages
Description
You'd like a delicious and interesting dinner, but your fridge has only small pieces of cheese and sausage, plus a few frankfurters? With this recipe, you can easily prepare a tasty dish—stuffed frankfurters. Ordinary frankfurters will turn into an exciting meal that can be served with a fresh vegetable salad. Kids especially love these frankfurters; just replace the sausage in the filling with something else, for example, boiled egg. Well, you've read the recipe and now know how.

Grate the boiled potato or simply mash it.

Finely chop the sausage and add it to the potatoes.

Grate the cheese on a medium or fine grater, add to the potatoes and sausage. Add mayonnaise and mix everything together.

Peel the sausages.

And make cuts in them. You can do it diagonally like this, or lengthwise along the center. The main thing is not to cut all the way through.

Stuff the sausages' slits tightly with a filling made of potato, sausage, and cheese. Place them into a lightly oiled baking dish. Optionally, sprinkle with grated cheese on top.

Place the baking dish with the stuffed sausages into a preheated oven at 180-200 degrees and bake to your desired doneness. You can also use a microwave, but it won't produce a nice crust.
