
Stuffed Tomatoes for Winter
Description
Homemade preserves keep for a long time. Of course, there are many other, simpler ways to can tomatoes, but it is still worth making a couple of jars of preserves using this stuffed tomatoes for winter recipe. Choose tomatoes that are slightly underripe; the main thing is that they be firm and sturdy. Rinse them under cold water.

Remove the seeds from the peppers, wash them, and cut into thin strips.

Clean the celeriac root and cut it into matchsticks as well.

Wash the fresh herbs and cut the garlic into sticks.

Now take the tomato and carefully cut off the top (where the stem attaches).

And stick two sticks each of pepper, garlic, and celery inside the tomato, along with a couple of sprigs of parsley.

Place at the bottom of each jar one dill umbrella, a bay leaf, allspice berries, and a small piece of hot pepper.

And fill the jars with stuffed tomatoes.

Separately, mix a liter of hot water with sugar and salt. Add one aspirin tablet to each jar and cover the tomatoes with the prepared brine. Cover the jars with lids and sterilize them for another 20 minutes.

Now seal the jars and, as usual, turn them upside down, wrap them in a blanket, and leave them to cool; then move them to a cool place.
