Stuffed zucchini boats
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. Here is a classic recipe for stuffed zucchini boats. I've long loved making this dish, and it never fails to impress my guests. Adjust the baking time according to your preferences. I personally enjoy a golden crust, but you can make it less browned by removing the zucchini from the oven as soon as the cheese has just melted. Have a wonderful day! The dish is ready to be served.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

For cooking, I used chicken mince.
- 2
Step 2

We wash and dice all the vegetables except the carrots into small cubes. The carrots should be grated on a grater.
- 3
Step 3

Wash the zucchini and cut them in half. Use a spoon to remove the flesh. Rub the zucchini with salt and leave them on the table.
- 4
Step 4

Finely chop the zucchini flesh.
- 5
Step 5

Now fry the minced meat with all the vegetables in a frying pan. Add salt, pepper, French herbs, and paprika.
- 6
Step 6

Check how much juice is released when simmering the vegetables with the meat. If there is a lot of liquid, add the rinsed raw rice immediately; if there is not much liquid, the rice should first be pre-cooked, then added.
- 7
Step 7

Brush the outside of the zucchini halves with oil, fill them with the stuffing. Place the zucchini on a baking sheet.
- 8
Step 8

Grate the cheese on a grater, then mix it with sour cream and herbs.
- 9
Step 9

Place the cheese mixture on top of the zucchini.
- 10
Step 10

Bake the zucchini in the oven until golden brown and the cheese is completely melted, also the zucchini should soften slightly.

Step 11

All that's left is to attach sails to the boats! Use cucumbers and plastic skewers to help you.
