Stuffed squid with rice and egg
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. When I first ate squid, I was terribly disappointed. They were just rubbery and tasteless. But then I decided to make them myself to get a better result. And it worked. I baked them. Now below I have provided you with the recipe. The finished dish can be served at the table.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Cook the rice in a large amount of water (1:6). Rinse it and set aside to cool. Also, hard-boil 3 eggs.
- 2
Step 2

Peel the onion and finely chop it. Sauté in a pan with oil until softened. Then add tomato paste, mix well and cook for 3 minutes.
- 3
Step 3

Peel the boiled eggs and chop them. Mix them with rice, raw eggs, onion, pepper, salt, and khmeli-suneli.
- 4
Step 4

Remove the skin and chitinous layer from the slightly thawed squid. Rinse under running water and lightly pound. Also, salt both inside and outside.
- 5
Step 5

Fill the carcasses with stuffing, but not too tightly. Sew the loose edge with a thread.
- 6
Step 6

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Sear the squid in a pan with oil until golden brown.
- 7
Step 7

Next, transfer the squid to a baking dish, or better yet, leave them in the cast-iron skillet. Pour sour cream over them and place in the oven.
- 8
Step 8

Bake the dish for 25 minutes. Remove the strings before serving. Enjoy your meal!
