Stuffed chicken breast with mushrooms
Description
Chicken breast fillet is my favorite part—I eat it all the time and most often make stuffed chicken breast with mushrooms at home. Actually, although this meat is delicious, it's very easy to overcook and dry out. That's why I prefer to stuff the breast. Sometimes I use other fillings, but mushroom is my favorite. Also, in this simple recipe for stuffed chicken breast with mushrooms, I'll prepare a vinegar-based marinade to give the dish a distinctive bright flavor and unique aroma.
Instructions

Step 1

Place a frying pan over heat and melt the butter in it. Add the finely chopped onion and garlic, and fry until golden. Then add the mushrooms cut into small pieces, and continue frying until almost all the liquid has evaporated from the mushrooms. Season the ready filling with salt and pepper to taste.

Step 2

Rinse the chicken breast and remove any fat. To make the breast approximately the same width on all sides, trim off excess meat.
- 3
Step 3

Now, using a sharp narrow knife, make a deep incision (pocket) in the chicken breast.
- 4
Step 4

By this time, the filling should have cooled, so we carefully spoon it inside the meat.

Step 5

For the marinade, we mix vinegar, olive oil, paprika, dried herbs, cumin, and salt to taste. Place the chicken breasts into this mixture and let them marinate in the refrigerator for at least one hour.

Step 6

Once the chicken breasts have marinated, place them on a baking sheet or in a baking dish and put them in a preheated oven at 220 degrees for 20-25 minutes. As soon as the meat develops a golden-brown crust, transfer it onto a plate and serve with any side dish of your choice. Enjoy your meal!
