Meatloaf in foil
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. You planned to cook something with minced meat, but suddenly more important and urgent matters came up? You don't have time to stand by the stove, yet your family will soon be asking for lunch or dinner? Use this recipe for minced meat baked in foil—you won't regret it. You'll manage to get everything done, and the meal will delight everyone in the household without exception. Preparation takes only about 20 minutes. Let's begin. 1. Soak the bread in water or milk. 2. Peel the onion, carrot, and pepper, then finely chop them. 3. Lightly sauté the vegetables in vegetable oil. 4. Squeeze the bread and blend it in a food processor. 5. Cut the cheese into small cubes. 6. Mix all the ingredients—minced meat, vegetables, eggs, bread, and cheese. Season with salt and pepper. Add your favorite spices. 7. Grease a sheet of foil of suitable size with vegetable oil. If you're baking the meat in a dish, line it with foil beforehand, leaving enough excess around the edges to cover the top of the meat. 8. Place the minced meat mixture onto the foil and shape it as desired. Avoid making it too thick, as it may crack. It's better to make it thinner and longer—it will bake faster and can later be sliced neatly. 9. Bake on a baking tray in a preheated oven at 200°C (390°F) for about 1 hour. Cooking time depends on the shape you've formed. Baked minced meat in foil can be served hot with any side dish, or cold—it's perfect for sandwiches. The dish is ready to be served.
