Meatballs with sauce

Description

The recipe won't take much time. In my opinion, the secret to a delicious and simple dish is obvious—it's all about the sauce. After all, no one wants to eat plain pasta or buckwheat, but you can turn any dish, even the simplest one, into a real treat by adding a little something like a meat sauce. There are countless variations, but today we'll focus on the simple recipe I use most often. It's quite basic, but the perfect combination of ingredients results in a fail-proof sauce. This wonderful meat sauce goes well with anything—rice, mashed potatoes, but it's especially delicious with pasta. You can make a few adjustments to this recipe and add some variety, for example, bell pepper or spicy chili pepper to give it a little kick, or you can leave it as is. Believe me, even in its original form, this sauce turns out incredibly tasty. But you should really try it yourself. First, take a look at my recipe for preparing meat sauce. Serve hot.

Instructions

    Step 1

So, let's start by chopping the onion. You can cut it however you like, but personally, I chop it quite finely.

  2. 2

Now heat vegetable oil in a skillet and sauté the meat mixture. Wait until the water evaporates, then continue cooking for another 5-7 minutes.

    Step 3

Add the chopped onion to the pan with the minced meat and fry together for a few more minutes, until the onion becomes soft.

Cut the tomatoes into quarters and place them on the pan with the other ingredients, continue frying.

    Step 5

Cover the pan with a lid and simmer over low heat for 10 minutes. Then add a couple of teaspoons of tomato paste (preferably natural) and pour in broth or water. Now you can season this delicious mixture with salt and pepper.

    Step 6

When all the ingredients have thoroughly absorbed each other's juices and flavors, add the chopped herbs and garlic to the pan (don't skimp on the garlic—it will only make the taste better). Cover with a lid and simmer for 3-4 minutes over low heat. Now our sauce is ready; all that's left is to decide what we'll eat it with.
