Carrot and minced meat filling
Description
The recipe won't take much time. This is the simplest minced meat with carrots recipe possible, but don't underestimate it, as this ingredient has great potential. You might argue that it's not even a dish at all, and perhaps you'd be right, but I'd like to point out that without this essential component, preparing many other more complex dishes would simply be impossible. Just think where you could add this wonderful minced meat: into pies, buns, casseroles, lasagna, to stuff fish, potatoes, peppers, or to make meatballs. Oh... it's even hard to imagine how many dishes simply wouldn't exist without this wonderful minced meat with carrots recipe. I use it very often, although, of course, from time to time I add something extra to vary it. Now I'm sharing it with you. Serve hot.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Finely chop the onion. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan and sauté the onion until golden brown.
- 2
Step 2

Grate the carrots on a coarse grater and add to the onion. Fry everything together under a closed lid over low heat.

Step 3

Now transfer the sautéed vegetables to a separate dish, and begin frying the minced meat in the same pan. Stir it occasionally to prevent lumps from forming.

Step 4

When the minced meat is ready, add the fried onion and carrots, mix well. Add salt and spices, mix again, and simmer for 3 minutes under a closed lid. Now you can make something truly delicious with it.
