Baked meatballs with potatoes and mayonnaise in the oven

Description
Serve this dish with fresh vegetables or a vegetable salad. You can sprinkle it with fresh herbs when serving. It's especially delicious when hot. The dish usually doesn't have time to cool down—it gets eaten up instantly.

Grease the baking dish with oil and place a layer of potato sliced into rounds. Lightly coat with mayonnaise.

Pass the meat together with the onion through a meat grinder. Add salt and spices. Mix and spread the minced meat mixture as the second layer over the potatoes.

Then place another layer of potatoes and also spread mayonnaise on it.

Sprinkle with grated cheese and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 40 minutes.
