Turkey and rice stuffed meatballs

Description

The recipe won't take much time. I suggest making turkey and rice stuffed cabbage rolls (hedgehogs) in the oven, although you can similarly cook them on the stovetop using any heavy-bottomed cookware. Turkey meat is considered not only hypoallergenic but also highly nutritious. This dish is perfect for a family dinner, as it's suitable even for little eaters. Tender and juicy, the hedgehogs practically melt in your mouth—give them a try. Serve hot.

    Prepare all the ingredients.

    Separate the meat from the bones and pass it through a meat grinder.

    Add the washed rice, grated onion (on a coarse grater), egg, salt, and spices to taste.

    Form round meatballs from the minced meat, approximately the same size.

    Place the hedgehogs into a deep ovenproof dish. Mix the sour cream with tomato paste and dilute with water. Pour the prepared sauce over the hedgehog meatballs (the sauce should almost completely cover them). Cover the dish with foil and bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 40-50 minutes.
