Double Sandwich
Description
The appetizer is quick and simple to prepare. A double sandwich is a great option for any occasion—it turns out quite tasty and filling. Of course, you can come up with many variations; today I'll suggest a simple and quick method. Fresh juicy tomatoes, plenty of greens, mild cream cheese, and boiled quail eggs—the perfect combination! Choose any loaf you like best, or you can use bread. For variety, you can add pieces of salmon or meat to the sandwiches. Save the recipe for reference. The appetizer is ready. Serve immediately.
Instructions

Step 1

Prepare all the ingredients. Boil the eggs in advance. I have ingredients for two servings; you can reduce or increase them if necessary.
- 2
Step 2

The bread needs to be toasted in a toaster or on a preheated skillet. I toasted it on a grill pan, after lightly spraying it with vegetable oil. Toast the bread on both sides.
- 3
Step 3

While the bread slices are still hot, rub one side with a garlic clove and spread with any cream cheese you like. Supermarkets now sell cheeses with various add-ins; I use one with herbs.

Step 4

Boil the quail eggs in advance for 2–3 minutes, peel and cut in half. Place on top. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- 5
Step 5

Cover the eggs with a lettuce leaf. Rinse the leaves beforehand and pat dry.
- 6
Step 6

Place the tomatoes, sliced into rounds, on the salad.
- 7
Step 7

Cover the filling with the second piece of bread roll, cottage cheese side down. The double sandwich is ready.

Step 8

Serve immediately.
