Yeasted buns with liver filling

Description

Delicious baked goods for the whole family. Pirozhki are a traditional Russian pastry with a variety of fillings. They can be sweet or savory, made with yeast dough or kefir-based dough, fried or baked—there are countless variations. But they all have one thing in common: they are absolutely delicious. Today I'm sharing a recipe. Serve cooled or slightly warm.

    Wash the liver, cover with water, and boil for 2 hours.

    Mix flour, 1 tbsp salt, sugar, yeast, 3 tbsp vegetable oil, and water. Knead a firm dough. Let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour. After an hour, punch down the dough and let it rise again.

    When the liver is cooked, blend it using a blender.

    Peel the onion, finely chop it, and fry in vegetable oil until golden brown. Add it to the minced liver and mix well.

    When the dough has risen, divide it into small pieces and roll them into circles. Place the filling in each circle and pinch the edges together with your fingers.

    Make the remaining buns using the same method. Let the buns rise for another 15-20 minutes.

    Heat the oil in a skillet and fry the buns on both sides until golden brown. Before serving, place the buns on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
