
Yeast buns without eggs and milk
Description
It will be perfect with tea and coffee. While kneading the dough, pay attention to adding the flour. Add it in parts, mixing well each time. You may need a little less or a little more. If you don’t want to add poppy seeds, replace them with vanilla, amount to taste. It can be served with tea or coffee.

Prepare the necessary ingredients.

In a bowl, mix warm water and yeast.

Add salt, sugar. Stir.

Pour in the vegetable oil. Stir.

Add the flour. Stir with a spoon.

After adding the flour, the dough will be soft but not sticky. Now add the poppy seeds, and start kneading by hand.

As soon as the dough comes together into a ball, transfer it to a work surface and knead for 5–7 minutes.

Round the dough, transfer it to a bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let it rise for 2 hours.

Divide the dough into 9 equal parts.

The dough can be simply rounded, or you can shape it into buns. For this, roll the dough into a very thin elongated flatbread. Using a sharp knife, make cuts without reaching the edges of the flatbread. The number of cuts is up to you.
