
Yeast roll with nuts
Description
Homemade pastries for tea. The amount of ingredients specified in the recipe for making nut-filled yeast rolls will yield 5 fairly large pieces. If you'd like to make fewer, simply divide the ingredients accordingly. Besides nuts, you can add a bit of poppy seeds or candied fruit to the filling. This roll recipe is a must-have in your collection of culinary favorites. The pastry is ready. Serve at the table.

1. Put the milk on the stove and warm it. If you prefer boiling, bring it to a boil and then cool it down.

2. Add the yeast and a couple of spoons of sugar. Mix everything thoroughly and let it sit for a few minutes.

3. If the yeast is of good quality and fresh, it will start working quite quickly.

4. Beat eggs (you can set aside 1 yolk for brushing the roll), sugar, melted butter, sour cream, and salt until fluffy. Mix thoroughly. Cover with plastic wrap or a towel and leave in a warm place for a couple of hours.

5. Once the dough has risen the first time, punch it down and let it rise again. Divide it into 5 equal parts.

6. To prepare the filling, chop the nuts and add sugar to taste. If using honey, you may omit the sugar. Add melted butter and condensed milk. Mix thoroughly.

7. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Prepare a heatproof baking dish, grease it with oil or line with parchment paper. Roll out the dough quite thinly.

8. With a spoon, place the filling and spread it into an even layer. Carefully roll it up into a roll.
