Yeast bread
Description
The recipe won't take much time. So, for the bread you'll need warm water at a temperature of 38-40 degrees; if the water is too cold, the yeast won't activate, and if it's too hot, they'll die. For any baking, I buy fresh yeast, as dry yeast has let me down more than once. I immediately cut them into 25-gram pieces and store them in the freezer, which is very convenient—they can be stored this way for a long time. Then just place a piece into warm water, and within a few minutes they're ready. Serve cooled or slightly warm.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the ingredients for the bread. Let's get started!
- 2
Step 2

Dissolve salt, sugar, and yeast in warm water.
- 3
Step 3

Add the sifted wheat flour in parts.
- 4
Step 4

When the dough starts to come together into a ball, add a spoonful of vegetable oil and knead on the counter for another 5-7 minutes, until an elastic and pliable dough ball forms. Return the dough to the bowl.
- 5
Step 5

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and leave in a warm place (a warm oven) for 1 hour.
- 6
Step 6

An hour has passed, the dough has risen well. Remove the film and knead the dough again, making sure to release all the air from it.
- 7
Step 7

Grease the bread pans with vegetable oil. Divide the dough into two parts, shape each into a loaf, and place in the pan. Cover with a towel and let rise in a warm place for 40 minutes.
- 8
Step 8

The dough should rise again in size. Place in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 1 hour. If you don't have such molds, bake the bread directly on a baking sheet, reducing the time by 15 minutes.
- 9
Step 9

The bread is ready. Carefully turn the molds over; the bread comes out easily.
- 10
Step 10

Cool on a rack and taste.
- 11
Step 11

The pastry is ready. Serve with tea.
