Yeast dough in a bread maker
Description
Perfect with tea and coffee. This light and tasty dough is ideal for yeast buns. Try making it! You can use any filling for the buns: sweet or savory. Serve cooled or slightly warm.

Step 1

I will be baking in a "Panasonic" bread machine, but any one will work. So, into the bowl, add instant dry yeast, sifted flour, sugar, and salt.

Step 2

Add 1 egg, water, and vegetable oil. Place the bowl into the bread machine and select the "Dough" mode. Set the kneading time to 3 hours. On my machine, this corresponds to mode 18—French dough. The bread machine will knead the dough and produce ready, risen dough. I'd like to remind you separately that different bread machines may require different ingredient loading sequences. In some models, all the "wet" ingredients are added first, followed by the "dry" ones, while in others, it's the opposite.

Step 3

The result is a fluffy dough. It needs to be kneaded again—and it's ready for further procedures. This dough is suitable for buns, pies, sausages in dough, as well as for kuliebaki and other homemade sweet baked goods.

Step 4

The dough turns out sweet, but a savory filling goes well with it too. I baked cabbage buns. This dough yielded 20 buns.
