
Yeast dough for donuts
Description
Donuts are a favorite treat not only for American police officers. This light, soft, and aromatic delicacy makes you forget about dieting or watching your figure. They are made with various glazes or simply dusted with powdered sugar. The key to preparing them is making the right dough. The baked goods are ready. Serve at the table.

1. Pour milk into a bowl, add water and heat slightly. Add yeast and granulated sugar to the warm liquid, stir everything and let stand for 15 minutes.

2. When bubbles appear on the surface, it means the yeast has started to react, and I continue kneading the dough.

3. In a bowl, I break an egg, add a packet of vanilla sugar, a pinch of salt, and pour in melted but cooled butter, then thoroughly mix the ingredients.

4. Add flour to the bowl in portions, previously sifted, depending on the consistency, you may need more or less of it.

5. Knead the dough until it is no longer sticky to the hands, but at the same time not over-floured. Cover the dough with a towel and let it rest at room temperature for 1.5–2 hours.

6. The dough is ready when it has increased by one and a half to two times; then I use it to make doughnuts.
