Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Pour the milk into a saucepan and heat it, but not too much, to about 40 degrees.
- 2
Step 2

Pour the warm milk into a bowl and dissolve the dry yeast in it; let this mixture sit for a few minutes in a warm place.
- 3
Step 3

Then take a clean saucepan and melt the butter in it.
- 4
Step 4

In a deep bowl, add flour and mix it with sugar, salt, and vanilla.
- 5
Step 5

Into the flour mixture, pour the milk with dissolved yeast, and mix everything well.
- 6
Step 6

Now add the melted butter and knead the dough, first with a spoon, then with your hands; thanks to the butter, it won't stick right away.
- 7
Step 7

Knead the dough for about 2-3 minutes, until it becomes sticky again.
- 8
Step 8

After that, continue kneading for another 10 minutes. The dough should become soft and elastic. Shape it into a ball and place it into a bowl greased with vegetable oil. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap. Let the dough rise at room temperature for 2 hours.

Step 9

When the dough has doubled in size, transfer it to the refrigerator; after about 4 hours, it will be completely ready for further work.
