Yeast pizza on a skillet
Description
Homemade baked goods for tea. A rosy and appetizing skillet pizza can be prepared very quickly. The main thing is to let the yeasted dough rise so that during cooking it becomes fluffy, porous, and airy. Make the dough 30 minutes before you start cooking the dish, either the night before or in the morning, place it in a bag and put it in the refrigerator.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the necessary ingredients.
- 2
Step 2

Mix the dry yeast with warm water, flour, and salt. Knead a not‑too‑dense dough and let it rest for 20–30 minutes, covering it with a towel.
- 3
Step 3

After the specified time, roll out the dough on a work surface, grease the pan with vegetable oil and place the yeast dough into it. Place the pan on the stove, turning on medium heat. Meanwhile, slice the smoked balyk, and grate the hard cheese using a fine‑grated grater.
- 4
Step 4

Fry the dough on one side for about 3–4 minutes until it develops a golden brown crust, then flip it to the other side and reduce the heat to the minimum.
- 5
Step 5

Spread the base surface with ketchup; optionally add mayonnaise of any fat content.
- 6
Step 6

Lay out the balyk slices in any order.
- 7
Step 7

Sprinkle with grated cheese and cover the pan with a lid. Cook over low heat for about 6–8 minutes.
- 8
Step 8

During this time, the bottom part of the dough will be properly baked, and the cheese layer will melt.
- 9
Step 9

Place the ready yeast pizza on a board or plate, garnish with fresh herbs, and cut it into pieces. Serve with tea or other beverages at the table.
