
Potato pancakes with mushroom sauce

3. Place the mushrooms in a frying pan and sauté them over medium heat until fully cooked, partially covered. Season with salt and pepper to taste during cooking. 4. Let the mushrooms cool, then mix them with sour cream. Stir everything together, adding more salt, pepper, or other spices to taste if desired. Wash and dry a small amount of fresh herbs. Finely chop the herbs and add them to the mushrooms with sour cream. Mix once again, then refrigerate the sauce.

5. Now you can prepare the potatoes. Peel them, wash, grate on a grater, and place into a deep bowl or pot. Add the egg, salt, and a pinch of pepper if desired. Mix everything well.
