1. Before preparing the pancakes, thoroughly wash the carrots and peel them. Grate the carrots on a coarse grater. Alternatively, you can chop them in a blender.

2. Prepare a container for the stuffing. Place the carrots into the container. Add the sprouted wheat grains. Mix in the rye whole-grain flour and sesame seeds. Add salt. Add the egg to the container. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly until a relatively homogeneous mixture is formed.

3. Heat a frying pan. Pour vegetable oil into it. Carefully place the potato pancakes onto the pan, shaping them into patties. Try to keep each patty separate, not touching the others. Fry well on one side, then flip. Continue frying on the other side.

4. After cooking one batch of pancakes, continue frying the next. Add more oil if necessary. This dish is best served non-fasting with sour cream. A mushroom sauce also goes well with it.
