Peel the onion and potatoes. Slice the potatoes thinly (no more than 1 cm thick) and cut the onion into thin half-rings. Lightly grease a baking dish with oil, then arrange the onion and potatoes in it. Place in a preheated oven at 200 degrees Celsius for about 10–15 minutes.

Clean the fish from scales and entrails. Remove the backbone and gills.

Grind the garlic and parsley with salt in a mortar.

Add paprika and a spoonful of olive oil, mix well.
