
Homemade lasagna with lavash

To prepare homemade lavash lasagna, we will need - beef or pork minced meat. Beef is preferable, as it is less fatty than pork. Also, a can of tomatoes in their own juice - if you can't find them, you can use fresh tomatoes, scald them, remove the skin, and puree in a blender. See the step-by-step recipe below

Let's start by preparing the filling. Chop the onion into cubes and fry in oil.

Then add the ground meat, mix and fry for about 5 minutes. Next, add finely chopped garlic and spices (salt, pepper, oregano). Simmer everything together for another couple of minutes.

Cut the tomatoes in their own juice into small pieces, removing the skin beforehand. It's better to puree them in a blender. Add to the mince. Mix and simmer for another 7-10 minutes.

While the meat is stewing, cut the lavash to fit your baking dish.

Start assembling the lasagna: alternately place the lavash, spread with the filling and tomatoes.

Do this until the filling runs out. The last layer is lavash.

Now you need to pour the lasagna. Mix the egg with mayonnaise, add a little melted butter and grated cheese.

Pour the resulting mixture evenly over the lasagna.
