Step 1

1. Homemade sausage can be made from different types of meat. I usually make chicken homemade sausage in plastic wrap. Take chicken thighs and separate the meat from the bone. It's better not to use the skin, but that's up to your taste.

Step 2

2. Pour hot water over the gelatin and let it stand to swell for about 20 minutes. Meanwhile, finely chop the meat (do not grind it through a meat grinder!). Add mayonnaise, salt, and spices to taste.

Step 3

3. Take a sheet of plastic wrap, place the prepared minced mixture along one edge, then roll it up. Be sure to tie the ends tightly.

Step 4

4. Now wrap the resulting sausage in foil, fold the ends, and place it in a preheated oven for one hour. The oven temperature should be at least 180°C.

Step 5

5. After baking, let the sausage cool, then place it in the refrigerator. Homemade sausage wrapped in plastic wrap is served cold. I usually remove the wrap and wrap the sausage in regular paper — this way it keeps better and longer.
