Homemade Bryndza
Description
The appetizer is quick and easy to make. The secret to the taste of homemade brynza is natural milk. Even store-bought milk, even the fattest kind, won’t work here. I usually buy fresh morning milk at the market from trusted grandmas. The cheese turns out very tasty, just like in childhood! Watch. Serve the appetizer at the table.
Instructions

Step 1

Bring the milk to a boil. Pour in the vinegar and add the salt. Keep the heat on for another couple of minutes so the mixture curdles. Strain the mixture through a colander and cheesecloth; discard the whey.

Step 2

Shape the mixture as needed by placing something heavy on top. This can be a bottle, a small pot, or a clean stone. Leave in a cold place for one hour.

Step 3

Cut our brynza into large pieces. Serve chilled. Brynza is perfect for breakfast.
