Homemade cottage cheese roll
Description
Delicious baked treat for the whole family. I baked the roll in a 37x27 cm pan; the dough layer was about 5 mm thick. If your oven doesn't have a 300°C setting, bake at the highest temperature available. Choose any jam or preserves you prefer. If you don't want to turn the second cake layer into crumbs, use it to make a second roll :) The baked good is ready. Serve at the table.
Instructions

Step 1

1. Beat 2 eggs until they lighten in color and increase in volume. Then gradually add condensed milk in parts, beating with a mixer at high speed.
- 2
Step 2

2. Add a pinch of salt and vanilla to the dough. Sift the flour twice. Add half of it to the bowl of the mixer and mix.
- 3
Step 3

3. Then add the second half together with the baking powder to the dough. Knead until smooth. The dough should turn out elastic.
- 4
Step 4

4. Grease the baking tray completely with butter or sunflower oil and line it with parchment paper. Spread the dough evenly over the entire tray. The layer should be up to 1 cm thick.

Step 5

5. Place the baking sheet in a preheated oven. Heat the oven to 300 degrees and bake the roll for 7–10 minutes. Transfer the finished roll onto a wire rack and cover with a damp terry towel until completely cooled.

Step 6

6. Beat the sour cream with a mixer for 2-3 minutes, then add the powdered sugar and mix until completely dissolved. Then add the cottage cheese mixture to the mixer bowl, previously blended into a creamy consistency using a blender. Mix everything together.

Step 7

7. Cut the cooled cake into 2 parts with a bread knife. Spread jam or jelly on it.
- 8
Step 8

8. Spread the cottage cheese filling as the second layer, leaving a border around the edges. Transfer the cake to a waffle towel and use it to roll up the cake into a roll.
- 9
Step 9

9. Spread the remaining cream over the top of the roll and place it in the refrigerator.
- 10
Step 10

10. Crumble the second half of the cake into fine crumbs using a blender. Grate the chocolate bar on a fine grater.

Step 11

11. Sprinkle the roll with crumbs, then with chocolate. After it has chilled in the refrigerator for 2 hours, it's ready to eat :)
