1. Prepare the necessary ingredients: chop the garlic with a knife, add salt, and rub it well with the salt until the garlic begins to release its essential oils.

2. Finely chop the herbs—basil and parsley—and add them to the garlic and salt. Add pine nuts, toasted in a dry skillet for three minutes, to the herbs.

3. Add Parmesan and season with salt. Using a blender, process the mixture at low speed for 1-2 minutes, then add 1/3 of the olive oil.

4. Blend again using a blender. Transfer the sauce to a jar and pour the remaining olive oil on top.
