sugar-free chocolate at home
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Carob is free of caffeine, gluten, and theobromine and is known for its low glycemic index. However, if you don't have carob, you can substitute it with high-quality cocoa powder—the result will still be excellent. Instead of almonds and dried cranberries, feel free to add other nuts or dried fruits to your taste, or omit them altogether. Carob is naturally sweet, so I found its sweetness sufficient for the chocolate, but if you have a sweet tooth, add a bit of sweetener. Serve chilled.
