homemade moonshine
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Moonshine is a very strong alcoholic beverage. Traditional homemade moonshine is at least forty percent alcohol, sometimes even stronger. It is made from sugar and yeast (or sugar can be replaced with berries and fruits). The drink is left to ferment, then distilled for purification, and finally bottled into glass jars. 1. You will need a large pot large enough for the mixture to ferment freely. Warm the water to room temperature, add sugar, and stir until completely dissolved. 2. Pour 200 milliliters of the sugar solution into a bowl, dissolve the compressed yeast in it, and let the mixture sit for 7 minutes (to activate the yeast). 3. Pour the activated yeast into the main pot, mix well, and seal the container with a fermentation lock. 4. Leave the mixture to ferment for 7 days. Then, carefully drain the liquid, leaving behind the yeast sediment, and distill it using a still. Pour the finished moonshine into glass containers and store for a long time. Serve chilled.
