
Homemade mayonnaise with boiled egg yolk
Description
Homemade sauce is easy and quick to prepare. Making homemade mayonnaise with egg yolk is very simple, the main thing is to have all the necessary ingredients at hand. To ensure the mayonnaise turns out successfully, it's important that all ingredients are at the same temperature. Also, as with other similar recipes, you can increase or decrease the amount of oil, which will determine how thick the mayonnaise will be. If the mayonnaise turns out too thick initially, simply dilute it with boiled water or milk. The sauce is ready. Store it in the refrigerator and serve with dishes.

Prepare all the ingredients.

Add mustard to the yolk and mix until smooth.

Pour the milk and vegetable oil into the blender jar (they should be at the same temperature). Add salt, sugar, and lemon juice to the same jar. Press the immersion blender blade against the bottom of the jar and start blending at maximum speed (you can lift the blade from the bottom only when the mixture becomes noticeably uniform). Continue blending until completely smooth.

Gradually add the egg yolks and beat until all ingredients are completely combined. The mayonnaise will turn out quite thick, and of course, its taste cannot be compared to store-bought versions. You can optionally add any ingredients, such as herbs, etc.

Mayonnaise must be stored in the refrigerator. I don't make large quantities because it's always easy to quickly prepare a new, fresh batch.
