
Homemade mayonnaise
Description
Perfectly complements meat, poultry, and side dishes. Homemade mayonnaise is an excellent alternative to store-bought because it contains no preservatives, is inexpensive, and allows you to add spices to taste, creating a new flavor each time. The finished sauce can be stored in the refrigerator for several days.

Prepare all the necessary ingredients: they should be at ROOM temperature and definitely FRESH.

Crack the egg into the bowl. Add salt, sugar, and mustard. Beat for 1–2 minutes until the mixture becomes uniform.

Without stopping whisking, gradually pour in the oil in a thin stream. When the mixture begins to noticeably thicken, add the remaining oil and lemon juice.

The mayonnaise is ready. *Store in a tightly sealed jar in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
