
Homemade yogurt from sour cream
Description
If desired, the creamy-tasting yogurt made from sour cream can be mixed with any berries and fruits, added to soaked oatmeal, or used as a base for sauces for meat, fish, salads, etc. It is very healthy and delicious.

Prepare the listed ingredients.

Pour milk of any fat content into a saucepan, place the pan on the stove, and bring to a boil. Turn off the heat and cool down to 30-35 degrees.

Place the sour cream into the container and thoroughly mix the contents of the pot so that the sour cream is evenly distributed throughout the milk.

Pour the mixture into small jars or containers. The smaller the jars, the faster the yogurt will thicken.

Seal the containers with lids, wrap them in a towel, and leave in a warm place at room temperature no lower than 18 degrees Celsius. Do not place on a radiator or in an oven! After 6-8 hours of fermentation, transfer the jars to the refrigerator for another 6-8 hours.
