Homemade bread with nuts, basil, and goat cheese
Description
Homemade baked goods for tea. I basically adore homemade bread. When your apartment smells of fresh bread—you just feel magical. And serving some delicious dish with fresh, still-warm bread is beyond words :) One of my signature versions is homemade bread with nuts, basil, and goat cheese. All these ingredients give the bread a very pleasant aroma and flavor. And the main thing is—baking bread at home is very easy! You only need to want to. Good luck! Cook with pleasure :) The bake is ready. Serve at the table.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Sift the flour (rye and wheat), yeast, and salt into a bowl. Pour 325 ml of warm water into the mixture.
- 2
Step 2

From the resulting mixture, knead an elastic dough that does not stick to your hands. Put it in a warm place for 1 hour.
- 3
Step 3

In an hour, the dough will increase significantly in volume. Then it needs to be kneaded down well once more and left in a warm place for 20-30 minutes, after which the dough will be ready for the next steps.
- 4
Step 4

While the dough is rising, cut the cheese into small cubes.
- 5
Step 5

Chop the nuts coarsely.
- 6
Step 6

Roll out one flatbread from our dough. Put a third of our cheese and nuts on the flatbread and work them into the dough. Repeat this procedure two more times.
- 7
Step 7

Then roll chopped basil leaves into the dough in the same way.
- 8
Step 8

From the resulting dough, shape an elongated loaf. Place the loaf on a baking sheet lightly dusted with flour and let rest for about 20 minutes; then lightly brush the top of the loaf with olive oil.

Step 9

Place the bread in an oven preheated to 200°C and bake for about 30 minutes. That’s it—the bread is ready!
