
Homemade cheese crackers
Description
Delicious baked treats for the whole family. You can bake a whole batch of these crackers, as they have a long shelf life. Use one type of cheese or a combination. Marbled cheese works especially well, giving the crackers a beautiful color and texture. Enjoy the crackers with tea or serve them with a sauce, such as garlic sauce. They also make a great accompaniment to tea or coffee.

1. Mix the flour with baking powder and salt. In a separate container, mix the softened butter and grated cheese. Combine the dry ingredients with the butter-cheese mixture, add cold water one spoonful at a time, and knead the dough.

2. Divide the dough into portions, roll each portion into a sheet about 0.5 cm thick, and cut into small squares with a sharp knife.

3. Place the squares on a baking sheet greased with vegetable oil, prick each one with a toothpick, and brush with lightly beaten egg white.

4. Bake the cookies in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 14-16 minutes. Serve them cooled.
