Description

The recipe won't take much time. Your family and friends will gladly enjoy these colorful homemade rolls if you decide to treat them to Japanese cuisine at home. You can use any filling you like, wrapping it in rice. Be sure to top the rolls with lightly salted red fish. The appetizer is ready. Serve immediately.

    Prepare the listed ingredients. You can replace processed cheese and mayonnaise with cream cheese, and fresh cucumber with avocado.

    Rinse the rice in water several times, pour it into a pot, and add hot water; add salt. Cook the rice for 15 minutes from the moment the water comes to a boil. Then pour in the vinegar and add sugar, stir, and cover the pot with a lid, letting it steam for about 5–10 minutes.

    Rinse the cucumber in water and trim off the ends. Cut the vegetable and cheese into long strips.

    Line a board with plastic wrap and spread the boiled rice on it, trying to make it as even as possible.

    If using processed cheese, spread a lattice of mayonnaise. Place slices of processed cheese and cucumber on one edge of the rice layer.
