Homemade lollipops without molds
Description
Do not put hot candies in the refrigerator to cool them down faster. Temperature changes may cause them to crack. Wait until they have cooled completely, then you can store them in the refrigerator.
Instructions

Step 1

To make hard candies, prepare the necessary ingredients. You can use food coloring of any color or omit it altogether.
- 2
Step 2

Put sugar into a small saucepan.
- 3
Step 3

Then add water and place over heat. Bring to a boil. Stir to dissolve the sugar.

Step 4

After boiling, add a pinch of citric acid and food coloring. Heat the caramel to 160 degrees.

Step 5

When the caramel reaches 160 degrees, it will thicken and large bubbles will appear. Remove the pot from the heat and, stirring with a spoon, wait until the caramel stops bubbling.
