Homemade cherry wine
Description
The hardest part about making homemade cherry wine is waiting for it to fully ferment and become ready to drink. The process is not fast, but it's worth it, believe me! Recipe for homemade cherry wine: 1. Fill clean, dry 3-liter jars with cherries—almost up to the shoulders. Add a glass of sugar on top of each jar. 2. Shake the jars and place them in a dark corner (at room temperature) for several days. Shake the jars periodically. 3. Once the sugar has completely dissolved and the juice that forms rises almost to the jar necks, pour the liquid into a clean bottle. Place a glove with a small hole in one finger over the bottle neck, and move it to a cool, dark place until fermentation finishes. 4. Siphon the wine off the sediment and bottle it. Store the wine in a cellar—keeping it in a pantry, for example, may cause it to spoil. By the way, the cherries left in the bottle can be covered with sugar again, and more juice will appear—this juice can also be turned into wine. In therapeutic doses, homemade cherry wine is very beneficial, especially for people suffering from anemia, low blood pressure, etc. Good luck with your brewing! Ready to serve.
