Description

1. The recipe for homemade wine from raisins consists of several steps, the first of which is preparing the starter culture. Mash about 250 grams of raisins into a puree (using a blender, for example). Do not wash them beforehand—this is very important! 2. Add about 50 grams of sugar. 3. Transfer the puree into a jar, pour in approximately 100–150 milliliters of water, and leave it in a warm place for 3–4 days. 4. When the starter culture is ready, transfer it into a bottle. Then add the remaining raisins, ground in a meat grinder or blender. 5. Pour water over the mixture and stir until the sugar dissolves completely. 6. Cover the jar with a lid fitted with an airlock and leave it in a warm place to ferment. 7. If fermentation hasn't started after 3–4 days, you can add a little more raisins or use yeast to initiate the process. 8. This stage will take about a month, until sediment forms at the bottom and the must has fully fermented. 9. Next, carefully siphon the liquid into a clean jar, leaving the sediment behind. Depending on the raisin color, the wine will be lighter or darker. 10. Now comes the longest stage—maturation. This will take at least 3 months, but the more time you allow, the richer and tastier the drink will become. That's an interesting way to make homemade wine from raisins. The beverage is now ready to serve.
