Description
The recipe won't take much time. Let's prepare homemade wheat beer. The brewing process will take several hours, and the finished beer must then be stored in the refrigerator for at least two weeks. After that, you can quench your thirst with homemade wheat beer and enjoy its taste and refreshing qualities. Here's how: 1. Dry the wheat in a large frying pan and crush it with a mortar. Put it into a large enameled container and pour 7 liters of water at about 65°C over it. 2. Let the wheat steep for about 3 hours, then drain the liquid. Pour another 7 liters of hotter water over the grains, let it steep for another 2 hours, and drain the liquid again. 3. Finally, pour the remaining 5 liters of cold water over the grains, let it steep for 1.5 hours, then drain the liquid once more. 4. Combine all the drained liquids in one container, add sugar and hops, bring to a boil over heat, and simmer for several minutes, stirring constantly. 5. Remove from heat and let it steep for 2–2.5 hours. When the liquid is warm (not hot), add a glass of diluted yeast, then leave it to ferment at room temperature for 5–6 days. 6. After active fermentation stops, filter the beer, pour it into bottles, seal them tightly, and store in the refrigerator for 2 weeks. Your homemade wheat beer is ready.
