
Homemade butter cookies
Description
The pastry is prepared simply and quickly. Why does butter cookie stay fresh for a long time? The whole secret is the high fat content. That's why no leavening agent is added to the dough. It's simply not needed. Pastry made with a large amount of butter turns out aromatic, tender, crumbly, and just melts in the mouth. All the details, serve it cooled or slightly warm.

Prepare the necessary ingredients. Take the butter out of the refrigerator in advance so that it is well softened.

Combine butter, powdered sugar and vanilla in a bowl, mix with a mixer until smooth. Add the egg, beat.

Add sifted flour, knead a soft dough.

The dough can be piped onto parchment for baking using a pastry bag or a syringe.

Or roll it out between parchment into a rectangular sheet, 0.7–1 cm thick. Cut out the cookies using cutters. Bake the cookies in a preheated oven at 200 °C for 10 minutes.
