1. For this jam you will need ripe apricots. Wash them thoroughly, let the excess water drain off, and remove the pits.

2. Blend the apricots in a blender until pureed. You can measure the apricots and sugar in any portions you like (equal numbers of cups, bowls, etc.).

3. Place the container with apricots on the heat and start cooking. The heat should be very low so the jam does not burn. During the process, stir the jam carefully and skim off the foam.

4. Add the sugar almost right away. As soon as the mixture starts to thicken, you can remove it from the heat and pour it into sterilized jars.
