Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the ingredients.
- 2
Step 2

Prepare a baking pan, grease it with butter, and dust it with flour.
- 3
Step 3

In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs and add the sugar.
- 4
Step 4

Whisk the eggs with sugar for at least 5–7 minutes until fluffy.
- 5
Step 5

In a water bath, melt 100 g of chocolate and 50 g of butter.
- 6
Step 6

Pour the melted chocolate mixture into the eggs and whisk it.
- 7
Step 7

Mix the flour and baking powder, add them to the dough, and beat well so that no lumps remain.
- 8
Step 8

Pour the batter into the baking pan, smooth it out, lift it a few times above the table and drop it down so the batter spreads evenly across the pan, bake at 160 °C for 30 minutes.
- 9
Step 9

While the crust is baking, grind the nuts.
- 10
Step 10

Toast the chopped nuts in a dry pan.
- 11
Step 11

Transfer the finished cake layer from the pan, upside down. If you don’t have a special baking pan that creates a specific indentation, make an indentation in the layer about 1 centimeter deep; this can be done very easily with a regular knife.
- 12
Step 12

Melt 50 g of butter and 200 g of chocolate in a water bath.
- 13
Step 13

Fill the prepared cavity in the crust with chocolate mass.
- 14
Step 14

Spread the nut crumble around the perimeter and refrigerate for at least 2–3 hours to set.
- 15
Step 15

The pie turned out fantastically tasty, with a delicate sponge cake and a delicious chocolate cream on top. Most importantly, this exquisite dessert is very easy to make. I wholeheartedly recommend preparing it and treating your loved ones.
