
Diet Chicken Goulash
Description
This goulash is a perfect example of how a diet dish can still be delicious, contrary to the common belief that healthy food is tasteless. Tender pieces of chicken in a wonderful sauce. Try it and see for yourself. If your health allows and you wish, you can add a clove of garlic to the finished dish.

Prepare the ingredients for making chicken goulash.

Peel the carrots, wash and grate them. Place them in a saucepan with a thick bottom.

Peel the onion, wash it, and finely chop. Add it to the carrots. Pour in sunflower oil and a little water. Cover the pot with a lid and simmer the vegetables until soft for 15-20 minutes. Stir occasionally, and if there is not enough liquid, add a bit more.

Wash the chicken fillet and cut it into small strips.

Then add the chicken fillet to the pot with the onion and carrots. Stir and simmer the meat with the vegetables for 10-12 minutes. Season with salt to taste.

Prepare the sauce. Put sour cream and tomato paste into a small bowl.

Thoroughly mix the sour cream, tomato paste, and flour to avoid lumps.

Add the sauce to the pot with the chicken and mix. If necessary, add more salt. Simmer the chicken in the sauce for another 5-6 minutes over the lowest heat, then turn off the heat.
