Dietary waffles in a waffle maker
Description
Homemade treats for tea. 1. Oat flakes are perfect as a base for waffles. If desired, you can also use whole grain flour. Put the flakes into a blender and grind them (you can also use a coffee grinder) until you get flour. 2. Place eggs into a deep bowl and whisk using a mixer or a whisk. 3. Add low-fat cottage cheese. If using soft cottage cheese, you can add it directly; for regular cottage cheese, it's better to pass it through a sieve first. 4. Squeeze a little orange juice. It will add not only a subtle sweetness but also a wonderful aroma. 5. For those with a sweet tooth, you can add honey or any other sweetener to taste into the batter. 6. Mix everything thoroughly, then gradually add the oat flour in small portions, stirring until you get a smooth, lump-free batter. 7. Lightly grease the waffle maker with oil and preheat well. 8. Pour in the batter and cook the waffles until golden brown. Before serving, you can top them with a sauce made of fresh berries or natural yogurt. If you omit the orange juice, the waffles can be made savory and served with processed cheese, vegetables, or fish. They can be enjoyed with tea or coffee.
