Description

Sometimes in the evening you really crave something delicious... Have you ever felt that way too? Sure, you could just open a can of fish, grab a tomato and some bread, and have a snack. But why not prepare something tasty, beautiful, and healthy instead? Let me tell you how.

Instructions

  1. 1

    Step 1

    Step 1

We'll prepare our dish using these ingredients. Since we're making a diet-friendly dish, we'll use low-fat cheese. Cut the cheese into small cubes.

  2. 2

    Step 2

    Step 2

Drain the liquid from the canned fish thoroughly. It's better to use canned tuna with large chunks rather than minced, unlike what I have. Add an egg and finely chopped herbs to the fish. I'm using frozen dill. Mix well.

  3. 3

    Step 3

    Step 3

Add oat flour. If you don't have flour, you can grind oat flakes. The amount of oat flour depends on how thoroughly you drained the liquid from the tuna.

  4. 4

    Step 4

    Step 4

This is the consistency you should end up with. If you roll it into a ball, it should hold its shape. But don't add too much flour, otherwise the tuna balls will turn out dry!

  5. 5

    Step 5

    Step 5

I decided to make 10 balls, but you can make smaller tuna balls. Take a portion of the mixture, place a cube of cheese inside, and roll into a ball.

  6. 6

    Step 6

    Step 6

    Carefully coat in bran.

  7. 7

    Step 7

    Step 7

And place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  8. 8

    Step 8

    Step 8

Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 15 minutes. Some cheese may leak out of the tunnaballs; unfortunately, this is difficult to prevent.

  9. 9

    Step 9

    Step 9

For a light dinner, serve tuna balls with fresh vegetables.

  10. 10

    Step 10

    Step 10

And here's what a tunnaball looks like when sliced. Delicious and unusual!
